Westering Home is a Scottish song about a sailor returning to his home on the island of Islay.  This island was known as the "Queen of the Hebrides" and an important fishing hub.

Mingalay is an island at the southern tip of the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.  The "Minch" is the span of water between these islands and the Isle of Skye.
